Hello, my name is David Hafer.  My wife, Nancy and I are happily married.   We have five children:  Andrew married to Valerie, Becky, Debbie married to Bryce, Mark and Rose.  We are blessed to have a grandson, Caleb, who is one year old.  He is Debbie and Bryce’s son and is such a kick to be around.  I like to spend time with my children as often as possible. I love playing with my grandson and learning to be a grandpa.

I came to know the Lord later in life in 1992.  I was raised in a Christian home.  I knew about God but didn’t have a relationship with Him-just head knowledge.  But one day in January of 1992 while I was feeding hay, God showed me who I was.  It was humbling but just what I needed.  That was the day everything changed for me.

I like to help people around me and in our church.  I also like the out of doors, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, gardening and visiting with people.  I like to have little projects to do.   I like to help people by giving them my garden produce.  Also I like to take people out fishing and hunting so I can get to know them.
