Pastor Paul and Betty Knott grew up in northeast Colorado and were high school sweethearts. They have been married 49 years and have five children and 14 grandchildren.
Paul has a BA degree in Christian Education from Biola College (University) and a masters degree in theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He was a lay leader in his church and worked in manufacturing management in Denver for 12 years before being called into full-time ministry. He served as the pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Newman Grove, Nebraska for 12 years, and was the Sr. Pastor of the Hastings Berean Bible church from 2002 until his retirement in 2022.
Since retiring, he has been involved in preaching, teaching, conducting funerals, and working as a funeral assistant at a local funeral home. Over the past year, Paul and Betty have had the privilege of serving in two short-term interim assignments. Last summer they served the Berean Church in Rochester, Minnesota and last winter they served the Berean Church in Columbus, Nebraska.
Paul and Betty live in Hastings, Nebraska and enjoy reading, exercising, camping, hiking, motorcycle riding, playing pickleball--and especially spending time with their family.
